More Signs

MORE NEW SIGNS OF THE TIMES Two new signs have been erected over the summer with a third planned for next Spring. The first was a TLIA "sales" sign at the Rodway’s, 70 Jordan Shore Drive. This colorful sign advertises our wares; the Rodways are happy to help. The second replaces the old "Do’s and Don’t" sign at the Public Beach. This one, at our request, includes the caveat, "No soaps allowed in lake." We thank Mr. Chick and the town crew for re-doing it.
	The third, a map of the lake (a real beauty!) will be placed at the Public Beach next Spring. It was designed by a few of our members and made by a Portland firm.
It was partially funded from the Demonstration Project and the balance by TLIA. Bill Bentley will be framing it during the winter and it will be installed with the help of the Town next Spring. Be sure to visit it next summer. [To Top]
