SMALL BUT ENTHUSIASTIC LAKE CLEANUP GROUP
This year’s Annual Cleanup Day was decidedly smaller, but
nonetheless, effective. Meeting at the Public Beach on July 15 at 8
a.m., were Marjory and Joseph Kneeland, Jamie, Anna and Talia Rothfus,
Charlotte Webber and myself. Charlie Rodway arrived to
tell us he and Nancy continuously pick up Jordan Shore Drive on
their daily walks. |

The Cove group, Ed Perreault and Norm
Zaniboni, did likewise. Others either cleaned their areas quietly or
seem to have taken the year off.
The beach area was quickly tidied up and the members
returned to their home areas to continue the job. Hope for a bigger
group next year; it helps the lake and makes the Town’s tasks a little
easier. |
