STILL CLEANING UP
Volunteers of the TLIA Clean-up Committe - Join us in the crusade to keep our lake clean!! The Lake Patrol picked Sunday morning, July 11, to tidy up the Public Beach, roads and shores of Tripp Lake. It’s not a lot of time(two hours) but the results are well worth the effort. Armed with plastic gloves, bags and rakes, the group managed to fill a pickup truck with rubbish. It’s become a pet project and spills over, affecting lots of people. We are the caretakers of the Lake. If not us, who? When you walked or biked the roads this summer and saw little litter, thank the following people: Marilyn & Rich Sidle, Ed Perreault, Marchian Crane, Ron Getchell, Norm Zaniboni, Jackie Misenheimer, George Kelley, Jamie Rothfus, Anna, Talia and Drew Rothfus and yours truly. Susie Holleran, with bag in hand, cleans Jordan Shore Drive regularly. I’m sure others do as well. Stewardship means overseeing the Lake in many ways. Next year, plan on joining us on Cleanup Day, the Sunday morning following our Annual meeting. Add your name to the list. Just show up…no reservations needed. Babs |
