A BENCH AT THE PUBLIC BEACH

Last year at our Annual Meeting, Paula Smith proposed installing a Memorial Bench at the Public Beach to honor founders of the Tripp Lake Improvement Association. The motion was passed to spend up to $500 on the project.

She reported her findings to the Board of Directors on April 21, and will be ordering a bench made of recycled plastic, stained natural. Plaques will be attached with the following names: James Aikman, Peter Jordan, Lewis Murray and Robert Skehan. The bench will be installed by Bud Jordan and the Town of Poland’s Highway Department.

If anyone wants to donate towards, or purchase another bench to honor or memorialize someone, please let me know. Paula will be happy to help out.
