NEW SIGNAGE AT PUBLIC BEACH THIS
SUMMER
|
| If all goes as planned, two
new signs should be erected at the Public Beach this summer, one by the
Town and one by TLIA. The Town’s will be a newer version of the
existing one, listing beach rules and regulations. Ours will be a map of
the lake with important areas noted, as well as other pertinent
information |
| Partial funding for this
project was provided by funds remaining from the Tripp Lake
Demonstration Project. It was a collaborative effort of the Androscoggin
Valley Soil & Water Conservation District, Maine DEP, US-EPA, Boston
and TLIA. Staff from the Natural Resources Conservation Service provided
designs for conservation practices at the Public Beach with help from
Lake & Watershed Management Associates and volunteers from Poland
H.S. and TLIA. |
