NEW SIGNAGE AT PUBLIC BEACH THIS SUMMER

If all goes as planned, two new signs should be erected at the Public Beach this summer, one by the Town and one by TLIA. The Town’s will be a newer version of the existing one, listing beach rules and regulations. Ours will be a map of the lake with important areas noted, as well as other pertinent information
Partial funding for this project was provided by funds remaining from the Tripp Lake Demonstration Project. It was a collaborative effort of the Androscoggin Valley Soil & Water Conservation District, Maine DEP, US-EPA, Boston and TLIA. Staff from the Natural Resources Conservation Service provided designs for conservation practices at the Public Beach with help from Lake & Watershed Management Associates and volunteers from Poland H.S. and TLIA.
