Kudos For Ed Hinkley And Our Advertisers

Ed Hinkley, our ad man, has done it again. He’s about as involved and dedicated to our Organization as a person can be, all the while running his own business. So we thank him, publicly and sincerely, for his efforts in raising funds by selling ads in our Newsletter We also are grateful to an anonymous donor (a TLIA member) who contributed $200 to defray the costs of losing a few ads.

Ed reaches the potential advertisers in the evenings or on weekends and bemoans the fact that he could do more if he had the time. Well, we think he’s done just fine!

Our newest advertiser is "The Falls, Country Gifts & Bears," a lovely gift shop at 33 Elm St., Mechanic Falls, which features unusual gift items.

Please read all the ads and patronize the businesses they represent. When you purchase something from one of them, tell them that you saw their ad in our Newsletter. This is the feedback they need in order to continue to advertise. People will only buy space if it pays or out of generosity. This revenue helps to pay for the printing and mailing of the Newsletters and also helps toward the cost of testing our Lake.

Thanks and keep up the good work!
