All these dates are about average
for ice-outs, the earliest on record being March 31,2000 and the latest
being May10, 1958. We shall defer to Don Keene, long-time resident of
Tripp Lake, who has kept records of ice-outs since 1924.
A note to all who would like to
wager on ice-outs. TLIA will be holding an Ice-Out Contest next Fall
