ANNUAL LAKE CLEANUP

Memorial Beach at Public Beach, (Fall '04')

Howard Sherman, new chair of the Annual Tripp Lake Cleanup Day on Sunday, July 10, 2005,  reports that this year’s cleanup will be the “happening” of that weekend.  It’s an important time for LOTL (Lover of Tripp Lake), for in just a few hours, you can volunteer to pick up small debris, making Tripp Lake a much cleaner place.

Volunteers will meet at the Public Beach at 8 a.m. Gloves, rakes and bags will be provided;  your energy will come in handy.  Local youth groups will be contacted for their support as well.  Watershed residents who use the Beach are also encouraged to dig in and help.   We need to sustain the natural beauty of the Lake.  Please call Howard at (207) 998-8155 or (781) 639-8482 with any questions.

People are encouraged to clean up all areas of the lake.  If you can’t make it to the Beach, it’s important that surrounding roads,  shorefronts and gullies are picked clean.  Let Howie know what you intend to do!  See you on the 10th!
