TLIA Awarded Outstanding Conservationist

At Androscoggin Valley Soil and Water Conservation District's annual meeting, TLIA received the Outstanding Conservationist Award of 1999. The award was presented by Phoebe Hardesty and AVSWCD to Babs Shapiro on Wednesday, November 17, at Eli's Restaurant in Turner.  The annual award goes to individuals or groups who practice excellent examples of soil, water and related resources conservation techniques.  The award belongs to all of us- let's keep up the good work!
