Would you be willing to spend a few
hours on a weekend at the boat landing, inspecting boats for invasive
plant fragments and educating boaters to the dangers of invasives? If
so, stay tuned. We’re hoping volunteers will help Linda Laskey monitor
boats on busy weekends. It’s been tried at other lakes and we’re hoping
we can make a difference on our lake.
We’ve been told that Bass Fishing
Associations are aware of the problem and are doing all they can to
prevent infestations from reaching other lakes. We thank them for their
courtesy and dedication. If invasives spread, fishing and other lake
activities will disappear. Let Linda know if you can help.
