Membership Inches Up

Up

We’re delighted to report that we now have about 90 members. By this time next year, I hope it will be 100! New members are added at unlikely times; they’ve just bought a new camp and have heard of our Organization’s work. Some have purchased T-shirts and decided they like what the shirts represent--an active group working hard at making a difference. (There is a Make-a Difference Day…we strive to make a difference Every day!)

Next Spring, and possibly throughout the year, our Board plans to canvass people who aren’t yet members and invite them to join TLIA. Join us and help us. If you have a neighbor, ask if they belong. If not, explain what we’re doing and tell them we need their support. The Lake belongs to all of us and we’re ultimately responsible for its well-being. Next summer will be an important time, a watershed in our history. We’ll be in the midst of work begun four years ago with the Watershed Survey, yet near the end of our first big Demonstration Grant. There’s still lots to do and we need a lot of people to do it!

Our new members are:
