IN MEMORIAM
Our deepest sympathy to the following families who have lost loved
ones since last Fall.
To the family of Ara Goss, former manager of Goss’s Hardware
in Mechanic Falls, and father of Vernon, who passed away on Nov.
30, 2001, our sincere condolences. Ara lived on Megquier Hill Road with
his son and family, and helped with the fruit and vegetable stand
throughout the summer. He’ll be missed.
To Kristin Tardif of Poland Spring Bottling Company, who
tragically lost her son, Jack, in November, 2001, in an
automobile accident, our sincere sympathy. Kristin has been a member and
unceasing supporter of TLIA, donating Watershed signs around the lake as
well as funds to help defray costs during our Demonstration Project. She’s
been a speaker at our Annual Meeting and has donated cases of Poland
Spring Water for our Annual Raffles. We offer her comfort during her
bereavement.
To Letty Lussier and Bob Lussier, who lost both their parents,
Anita and Wilfred Lussier, this past season, our condolences. Anita
passed away in November, 2001 and Wilfred in January, 2002. Both were
long-time members of TLIA, living in the family camp on Garland Swamp
Road. Wilfred had been a member of the Auburn Fire Dept. for 27 years
and most recently, in retirement, was a courtesy driver at Lee Auto.
To Dr. Paul LaFlamme on the loss of his wife, Marion,
on January 2, 2002. Marion had been a member of the Board of Directors
from 1998 to 2001, when she resigned due to illness. She was dedicated
to helping TLIA in its efforts to protect and preserve Tripp Lake and
was always available to help. We shall miss her.
