CONGRATULATIONS

Best wishes to Shirley and Joel Goodman on the marriage of their son, Wayne, to JoAnne Miller on October 26 in Boston.  The new couple is residing in Falmouth, Me.

Best wishes to Lisi and Ron Kaufman on the marriage of their daughter, Carly, to Richard Chandler  They  were married at their summer home, Birch Hill, overlooking Tripp Lake on June 28.  Carly and Richard met at UVM, are both environmentalists, and are currently working on their Master’s degrees at UMA, Amherst, preparing for work in the rain forests of Costa Rica.

Congratulations to our co-president Judy King and her husband Del on the marriage of their son Zack to Melanie Smotrich in Century City, CA. on August 23, 2003.

All our good wishes to Nancy and Greg Morin on the marriage of their daughter Jessica to Todd Langevin on August 9 in the Chapel at Poland Springs.  Jessica works in the operating room of St. Mary’s General Hospital and Todd is with the Maine Dept, of Inland Fisheries.  They reside in Auburn.

Congratulations to Rae and Jeff Myers on the birth of their third daughter, Lauren Renee, on June 2, 2003.   Older sisters Jordan and Ashley are also proud of their new sister as are grandparents of Colorado and California.

And last but not least,  best wishes to Linda Laskey, our TLIA co-president, on her appointment to the Board of Directors of Androscoggin Soil and Water Conservation District.   She will be serving a two-year term.  We are so proud of you, Linda. Your experience will be invaluable in helping the entire area become better place.
